Swimming

During our summer heat wave it's so wonderful having a pool at our disposal! This particular day, after nap time, we took the kids and Popsicles down to the oasis. Brad sat with Nathan at the pool's edge while the little boy slowly sucked on his frozen treat. He sucked a little too slowly though and ended up having juice all down his belly. Brad tried helping by sucking off the excess liquid. Boy, was that the wrong thing to do! Don't mess with the boy's food! If only I could have captured a picture of my two handsome men sitting by the edge of the pool in their Hawaiian print shorts, bellies hanging out proudly. It was a crack up! Kaeley used to hate getting wet. Now she loves kicking around the water in her little inflatable duck. She is now one of those kids who swears she's not cold and doesn't need to get out of the water, but she holds on to me and shivers and shakes. It's a fun transformation. Nathan is getting more used to the water, but needs more exposure.
