- While listening to her favorite song in the car Kaeley said, "Mommy, you know what this song is my favorite?" "Why?" "Because it's my favorite."
- While getting dressed for bed last night she said that sometimes she and God talk together at night time. I said, "Really?" "Yes. My heart says, 'Do you want to talk to God?' and I always answer, 'Yes.'." I just pictured a little heart in a nasally voice saying, "Please hold for God..." I asked her what she and God talk about. "Oh... just junk." Whew. I had to practice holding my tongue on that one. I wanted to correct her about God never talking "junk", but didn't want to squelch the fact that God can talk to a four-year old. She'll learn.
- This morning she and Nathan were cleaning up their bedroom. I guess Kaeley was trying to put something away and Nathan still wanted to play with it. I could hear her saying, "No, Nathan. Leave it alone. Don't move it. Don't move it..." Then she started singing, "She likes to move it, move it! She likes to move it, move it! I like to move it, move it!"
- Last week I had the privilege of being compared to a barn animal. Kaeley said, "Hey, Mommy! You're making milk (speaking of the future of course) just like a cow!"
