More Days with Alynna

Brad and I remembered swaddling just the other night. Alynna quite enjoys the tight embrace of the blanket as long as the blanket isn't tickling her mouth and teasing her with the prospect of eating. It's helped her sleep longer at night. It's still not ideal, because she stays up until after midnight, but she's sleeping for longer periods, so that's been very encouraging.

The picture of Brad and the kids shows how they spent their afternoon. The kids are eating cheese and crackers, Brad is drinking a slurpee, and the kids are glued to the television. They all watched Star Wars today. He's been keeping them quite busy this week, and I'm thankful we have one more week before he's dragged back to work. It sure has been great having him home with us!

I couldn't help but request a picture of Alynna in her first sling. That sling is going to be her best friend once Brad goes back to work and I'm left alone with the kids. I love my slings.
