Here are the children in their costumes. Kaeley wanted to be a ballerina, but I was able to convince her early on to be a bride, because I had a leftover white curtain in my scraps of fabric. Nathan and Alynna got off easy with hand-me-downs or $5.00 buys. Kaeley loved being a bride. She really wanted Nathan to be her "professor" (meaning groom) and wear all black and white, but I didn't have anything like that for him and she told me too late. Maybe that's better for the boy anyway.
She's still planning on marrying him and I encourage it. Then a Sunday School teacher told her she couldn't marry her brother and Kaeley came home indignant. I lied and told her she could do anything she wants. Why crush her dreams now?
