So anyway, Brad tested the waters to see if I was also interested in going to a baseball game. At the time it sounded adventurous and I would rather lean on the side of being spontaneous over being a bore. Two days later Brad called me from work, which he never does, and said that he had bought Dodger tickets. I think I had a smile across my face that was not exactly what the heart was portraying. I think I said, "And you were expecting me to go with you?" Sports really isn't my thing. Well, long story short, I went. My mom watched all three of the children, which was a huge help, and Brad, Brian, Brian's girlfriend, and I all went to the game. I participated in the eating, the waves, and the "Charge!". Other than that I can't say I was particularly enthralled. Once, when the boys went to get some food, I leaned over to Jen to talk. When they got back Brad asked, "So, what did I miss?" I answered, "Well, Jen has a brother and a sister. Her sister is getting married in February and she got engaged on Christmas Eve." :) I know, I'm bad. Brad wasn't exactly expecting a serious answer anyway.
We had a good time. Who knows, maybe if we go back again I'll be a hardcore fan and blow him away with my knowledge and interest. It was a very fun experience though, and I enjoyed being with my hubby.
