Sickos... Yet Again

Well, Sunday, in the wee hours of the morning, Nathan woke up vomiting. All Sunday he couldn't even keep water down. He was in pretty good spirits though. Then Monday came a fever set and everything he ingested began coming out the other end. That's when he began to be very lethargic. He spent all Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and most of Thursday lying on the couch. The poor little guy was just pathetic. I had never seen any of my kids be so sick! However, the doctor's office said everything he was experiencing was normal for a bug that was going around. I'm telling you. This thing wiped my energetic boy out for almost a week!
So he started getting better and then Alynna got a low fever. In my head I was screaming, "No! No. No. No. No. No!"
She's doing okay, but isn't quite her normal self. It seems like she might have a very mild version of what Nathan had.
Today I wake up, started laundry, was looking forward to a trip to the park and then walking to meet Brad at the chiropractor later on in the day. Well, now I have a slight version of what Nathan had too. I have no energy and my stomach feels as though there's a knot in it.
Today I put on yet another movie for the kids to watch (they've watched hours of television this week since Nathan caught sick). I lay down and then Alynna took her nap. I sent Nathan to bed for bad behavior and he fell asleep. The movie ended, Kaeley went to bed, and that's, of course, when Nathan and Alynna both woke up. Sigh.
I called Brad and his encouragement to me was, "I'll be home in a couple of hours." Couple? I have at least five more to go!
