Nathan's Dreams Come True

I have looked into buying Nathan a train table ever since we moved into the apartment and had the room for the extra furniture. I was looking on Craigs List for a good deal, but never did see any in our area. Thursday morning, on a whim, I looked it up and found one! It was in our immediate area, had a few trains and a building or two, and was $50.00. I took Brad with me for the extra wisdom. Well, it was in great condition, so we brought it home that night.
Nathan was so excited that he couldn’t stop looking at it! He kept saying, “Thomas (which he calls all trains)! Boo-ee-ful! Preedy!”
When we got all set up he went to work playing. Kaeley wanted to play with it too, so she trains in love triangles all over the table. I don’t know where she gets this stuff. I blame it on Disney! Oh, I let her watch those films. Oops.
Anyway, he loved playing with his table so much that he was broken hearted when it was bed time. I asked Brad to kiss him good night, let him play with his table, shut the door, and play it by ear. Sure enough. He played happily all by himself for about half an hour. I could hear him blowing his little train whistle and yelling, “Ah board!” After a while I didn’t hear anything. He had climbed into his bed when he was ready.
