Alynna, the Sick Diva

Last week Kaeley had a bad cold. She had a slight fever, runny nose, snotty sneezes, and a juicy cough. On Wednesday or Thursday Nathan caught it. He suffered from a fever and went in and out from feeling fine, but little appetite, to "Me feel bad!" Then Thursday night and Friday it was Alynna's turn. Friday night I was supposed to have a date night with Brad as my mom took Nathan and Alynna home for a sleepover. Alynna did not cooperate. She was clingy, mopey, snotty, and felt all-over yucky. She's better today, but she's got quite the gunky nose.
Yesterday her siblings were all putting on their sunglasses before heading out the door to meet grandparents. Alynna, who loves her sunglasses, had to copy suit, so we put her sunglasses on. She sat on the couch with an empty pouch of CapriSun and those sunglasses for almost an hour! She was very cute. However, then my mom came over and tried to interact with her as one would with a baby. No. Alynna wasn't into that at all. She would turn her head away with a sound of "Hmph!" That attitude and the glasses just screamed DIVA to me.
