AYSO Soccer's Last Practice

It has been determined that Nathan, my little pleasure, is not yet into soccer. I thought it was hilarious watching him on the field, but Brad, who took him to soccer practice every week, was less than impressed. While Nathan is not skilled in soccer as of yet, he used his God-given skills like talking and joy. He didn't understand the game, but he loved running. He would run with the pack of boys and just enjoy running in a pack of boys. It was like he didn't realize there a was goal beyond running. One week he was running behind the pack, caught up with the pack, and then got in front of the pack. His little face lit up when he realized he had "won" the race. In a second his expression turned to shock and fear as he realized he was about to be run over! I'm signing him up cross-country!

Well, if Nathan doesn't win the World Cup for us there's still hope.

AYSO Highlights for Nathan:
-the snacks Daddy brought to field
-slurpees at 7-Eleven with Daddy after practice
-playing with the orange vests
-poking the boy standing near
-talking to coach when he walked by
