I wake up at 6:15am, take a shower, read the Bible, and either get on the computer or clean the house until the children are allowed to get out of their room at 7:30am. I can usually hear the someone awake at 7:00am, but the house is mine until 7:30am. Yesterday Nathan woke up, I let him out to go to the bathroom, and then I encouraged him to read books or play cars until it was "time". He didn't like this idea, but since Brad and I are the ones who pay rent... 7:30am sounds right to me.
That time did eventually roll around, so I opened up Nathan's door. He was nicely reading books. I started helping him clean them up. He scampered up squealing, "Mommy, I get out now?" When I answered yes, he jumped up and yelled, "You good mommy after all!"
Darn right!
