Father Daughter Dance

Last night was our church's Father Daughter Dance. Kaeley has seriously been waiting for this event for two years! She and Brad went two years ago and had a blast! After a year of waiting for the dance to come around we realized friends were getting married on the same day, so the dance was a no-go for us.

I helped Kaeley primp. We painted some very messy watermelons on her fingernails, applied "make-up": light pink eye shadow, a little blush, and a tiny bit of mascara. She was glowing with excitement.

While Brad and Kaeley treated themselves to a night of fun, Nathan and Alynna and I decided to have our own night of excitement. We drove to a comic shop, bought a Batman for Nathan, Subway for my dinner, had chicken nuggets in the living room, and then Nathan and I played Batman on the Wii.
