Last week the kids learned about their skin. Our skin folds, stretches, heals itself. They learned that no two people have the same fingerprints. They had a blast playing with an ink pad, especially the saturated black ink. Alynna had a blast pushing her hands into the stamp pad and then all over her paper, but mostly she liked the pad itself. I was pretty good at containing the potential mess, but she did end up "getting" the window sill. You can guess which picture is hers. The other is Nathan's. Then we drew a caterpillar on the inside of our elbows. When we opened our arms all the way the caterpillar was long. When we folded our arm the caterpillar became very short.
They had a good time and I enjoyed how simple Science can be.
