I had gotten a little bit of shopping done in the morning before walking through the constant drizzle with packages, an umbrella, and a two-year old who refused to walk. By the time we got home I was exhausted and not in the best of moods.
Wouldn't you know that Alynna would choose a short power-nap in the car over a prolonged nap at home. What a bummer! I got my short snooze before calling for Kaeley. Kaeley and I always have a special time each day of me reading out loud and her doing crafts or something. That stinker Alynna ruined it all! She would not stop squealing and yelling and shouting! She was just having a hay day! Kaeley and I were not too happy. I had to yell over her just for Kaeley to be able to follow the story.
It's a good thing Alynna is so stinkin' cute. I can never stay too serious when looking in her little pink face framed by those curly ques.
Today, however, she took a good nap, so she's on my good-list again. :)
