Our New Year's Eve

Our New Year's Eve was spent with church friends. It was a very nice evening. Obviously, as you can see from the pictures, we took the kids to the park. We really tired them out as best as possible in hopes of an early bedtime. At the park Nathan found a friend to play with. Nathan was "Fire Man" while the other little boy was Batman. They played like two little boys and shot the friend's father and ran all over the place asking, "Batman! Are you okay!" "I not Spiderman! I'm Fire Man!" Kaeley was tough to take pictures of, because she also found a friend to play with. However, they were too busy challenging each other. "I'm six!" "Yeah, well, I'm six too!" "Well, I can do this... can you do that?" "I don't know. Move and I'll try it."
Yes, early bedtime worked out great. The kids had a blast playing with their new friends at the park and playing with old church friends. It was a very nice evening to finish off a long year.
