Kaeley was so excited about the yearly Father Daughter Dance. Nathan wasn't too thrilled. He was just sure that he himself was a daughter and could join them on this special date. It was Alynna who couldn't go. Well, the three of the younger kids and I went to Pat & Oscar's for dinner and then walked around the mall. I had lightly planned on having a night at home with a movie and popcorn, but our day was less than enjoyable, so getting out of the house was the way to go, I think. So we had a "meal for two" at Pat & Oscar's, I practiced much self-control at the Disney Store and Gymboree and didn't buy anything, bought each a pair of flip-flops at Old Navy for under $5.00, read two books at Barnes & Nobles, and then headed home for... finally... bed time. Sigh. What a day. What a day. What a day.
Kaeley was cute though. She couldn't believe that it was time for the dance again. She said that the time had gone by like thunder!

Russ is upset he missed the father daughter dance. Maybe we will have to start something like that at our church.
I love the pictures of your family. Miss you all so much! How did the intro to camping go?
