Determination

Yesterday I took the kids and a friend to a near-by park. This park used to have a working water system that ran a little creek all through out. For whatever sad reason there is now only a dirty little pond and waterfall area. The kids got it in their heads that if they could get water from the pond into the dry creek beds they could start the water system again. Maybe the news trucks and newspapers would come and interview them! So they worked for about an hour and a half!!! taking trash from the pond, filling it with water from the pond, and dumping it into the creek beds. They made their goal of getting it to the bridge, which was several yards away, but they still have a little bit of work to go before all the creeks are back in working order. Once, our friend said, "We'll never make it." Kaeley shouted back, "Yes, we will! You have to have faith!"
