The Simple Life

After Kaeley we learned cribs were just fancy beds that took up a lot of space, but made that space very pretty. A friend gave us a pack-n-play for Nathan and our idea of cribs were instantly changed forever. I don't think I would ever again spend the money on a crib. Soap box. Simon is such a difficult sleeper we folded up the pack-n-play and replaced it with a mattress and pile of blankets on the floor. That way I could nurse Simon at night, he could go to sleep, and I didn't have to risk waking him up while lifting him up into the "crib". Well, just when you think you've reached the ultimate simplicity you find your baby declining the cot for the floor.
