The Los Angeles County Fair

Thank you, South Bay Faith Academy, for planning a field trip! We paid nothing for parking and nothing for admittance.

Kaeley has gotten quite good at matching her facial expression with the photo template. Isn't she cute?

Simon has a lot to learn.

Simon took an early nap. He must have been exhausted from holding up that anvil  for so long.

Remember the free parking and free admittance? There was nothing free about the food!

So I have children who don't like to eat peanut butter with jelly and one who doesn't like broccoli and another one that doesn't like macaroni and cheese and yet another one that doesn't like peas. Bring out the dried seaweed and everyone is happy.

This year we found an exotic-type zoo at the fair. There were lizards and armadillos and  zebras... oh my!

But the scariest of all animals? The Fab Four Saavedras!

Kaeley was used as a model for curling iron. She begged for the iron, but I just couldn't justify the purchase. She did look beautiful though.

Until next year.
