San Gabriel Mission

Yesterday, following my urge for an adventure, the family headed to San Gabriel to visit our nearest mission. My tip? Do not visit in the middle of the day when it's 100+ degrees outside.

The mission was a small one, but the gardens were lovely.

While visiting the chapel Nathan decides to sit up front while the rest of the family sat in the back. Of course, he sits next to an older woman, struck up a conversation, and had a little lesson on the saints that decorated the wall. You can see the couple in the middle of the picture. You'll see the back of Nathan's head and the woman pointing out who she's talking about.

So next time we go we'll go when the weather is cooler and it's not football season. But, what the heck? We've seen it.
