Oreos and Bikes

Remember Kaeley's first big blow out that she walked away from unharmed? The bike wasn't as lucky. I guess contact with the pole blew out the front tire. We finally got it fixed yesterday, so Kaeley was just itching for a chance to ride it and show Daddy her skills on this huge bike of hers. We decided to walk to our local 7-11 store for some Slurpee's. Yes, she wore her Tinkerbell dress and a pair of blue sunglasses. I had gone on errands with her earlier in the day when she not only wore the dress, but also took her pink parasol every where she went. As you can imagine, she gets a lot of smiles.
While at the store Kaeley picked out a little package of Oreos to share with Nathan. This was his first time with this particular cookie, at least to my knowledge, and he knew just what to do. He tore the two cookies apart, ate out the icing, and then ate the cookies. Yuck. He had cookie smeared all over his face, hands, bibs, and knees! It looked as though he had rolled in the dirt!

Kids and Oreos always end with gross faces and black teeth...at least they do with my kids.

Great job Kaeley for getting back on the bike!

How else would you ride to 7-11 but in a Tinkerbell Dress and Blue Sunglasses? I can't think of more appropriate attire! ;)
