My mother-in-law bought us a new stroller. It was no easy task to find a tandem stroller that was light, affordable, and not clunky. I never thought I'd own a jogging stroller, but that seemed the most practical choice for us. I've used it several times now and the verdict? I love it! As you can see all three children fit in the stroller, too, which was a great surprise for me. I know Kaeley can walk, and she does sometimes, but it's often easier and always faster for me to push them all.
It was a nice day at the park. The pictures of Nathan are pre-face dive in the sand, mouthfuls of sand, and dropping water all over himself. He was a mess by the time we left. He also accidently dropped an opened bottle of cold water on Alynna, who was sleeping, and she was not happy by the surprise.
Kaeley was a wonderful help to her friends today. She made me a chocolate cake for my birthday. She also spent time picking flowers by herself.
We came home all sweaty, dirty, and ready for quiet time. Nathan and Kaeley took a warm bath and are still sleeping... hurray! Then Alynna and I took a cool shower together.
A prayer request would for Alynna's sleeping. She was doing really good lately. Last night she woke up at two o'clock in the morning and decided that was enough sleep for the day. I spent about an hour and a half with her and then passed the baton to Brad. I thought she would spend an hour or so awake and then fall back asleep. Poor Brad. That turned out not to be the case. Once he got up with he was awake for almost the entire rest of the morning. I think he gave up and took a shower around four or five. He walked out of the house like a zombie and forgot his lunch and his cell phone. So, please pray that Alynna sleeps during the night!

I'll be praying that you all get to sleep through the night. :) Your new stroller looks very cool!
Love the new stroller, eh? We've looked at those, and they look great! You'll have to tell me how it fairs during your first D-Land trip with it! :)
As for the sleeping through the night...sorry. :( I've never had one that slept through the night until well after a year old. But I'll at least pray that she goes back to sleeping for a few hours at a time!!
