Alynna went to her first, and probably only, well-baby check-up today. I needed to go for the paper work that is required for her birth certificate. Now the doctor wants to get tons of blood work done over the weekend to catch her up on all the tests that you usually have done in the hospital. We'll see if I actually get them done. Who knows.
Anyway... the part that I was really waiting for? She was 8 pounds, 3 ounces at birth and she is now 9 pounds, 9 ounces! I think she must be gaining it all in her cheeks and double chin.

Oh goodness - seriously? All that would have been done in the hospital was the PKU. And that's up to you. The ONLY other thing they would have tested would be her blood sugar levels, but she's already a month old. Absolutely NO need to do this now. She's obviously thriving. ;)
What else does he want to test her for? Alien blood? :sigh:
