This was our first year doing a gingerbread house. It was one of those lovely kits that had everything you needed for the house and its decorations. The kids had a great time with it. It was fun to see Nathan trying to sneak pieces into his mouth and Kaeley meticulously decorating her side of the roof. The roof kept slipping apart, but was able to make it our potluck in one piece... barely. It didn't take long for one of the sides to slide right down to the bottom. About ten minutes later the house was in shambles. It was all okay though, because it just meant easier access for the dessert-longing children.

hehe so cute! We tried to make them with graham crackers last year. It took a long time to get them to stand on their own but the kids had fun...it was very messy.
