We Meet at Last

Yesterday Brad left work early so we could catch the fireworks at Disneyland. Well, just like last year the fireworks threatened to be cancel due to high winds. We decided not to wait in the off chance that they would actually happen, so we left the park and had dinner in Down Town Disney. Well, of course, the fireworks started half way through our dinner. We ran to the nearest break in the trees to watch a few. That's okay though. It never quite works out and I believe that will be our new tradition, because it didn't work out for us last year either! I'm saying that with a smile though. We had a nice time and did see the Christmas parade, so all's well that ends well.
Another part of the night involved the Lego Store. It was the funniest thing. Nathan and Kaeley both really enjoy Star Wars. Nathan kissed the store's C3PO and would walk up to Darth Vader just until the black tile the statue was standing on. But when we tried to take a picture of Nathan standing with Vader our little boy cried and cried and cried until Daddy picked him up and walked away.
However, I found a little foam sword, which I totally should have bought him, and suddenly he wasn't so afraid of the black man anymore. He developed a bit of a "bring it on" mentality. It was quite entertaining. It's just too bad I didn't buy that sword!
