Nathan is, as most boys and two years old, full of energy and motion and constant, constant noice. He's always filling the quiet stillness with "bops" or "ayes" and so on. He loves being around family and friends. He runs to his Grannie and Grandma, kisses Daddy all the time, loves being around me and Kaeley and Alynna, who he calls Diddy.
A week or two ago I was calling him my baby and then I corrected myself knowing that he was no longer my baby, but my big boy. I said, "You're my big boy." He shook his head and answered, "Baby." "No, Nathan," I lovingly answered, "You're my big boy." "I'm baby." "Big boy." "Baby!" "Big..." And then he thrust his head forward and screamed, "BOSS!!!" So that's been our big joke around the house lately.
Kaeley has taught him the lovely disappointed, "Awe!" and, "Oh, man!" He'll tell me, "Donna Duck?" "No, Nathan. No TV right now." He'll answer, "Awe! My Mouse?" "No Mickey Mouse either." "Awe, maw!" He not only likes Disney cartoons of all types, but Diego and Star Wars.
He loves playing with trains and trucks. He likes everything about trains. He's fascinated with big trucks driving down the street. What can I say, he's just a boy's boy! He likes dirt, climbing, pounding things on hard surfaces, etc.
His favorite words: no, mine, andy (candy), up (cup), and too too (train)
His favorite toys: shoes, trains, Cariboo
His favorite activity: playing outside, playing trains, playing with sister, watching television, sleeping
