Palm Sunday

Happy Palm Sunday to you all! Palm Sunday is always the Sunday before Easter. It celebrates when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. The people of Jerusalem greeted Him with shouts of praise, waved palm branches, and placed the branches and their coats on the ground for the donkey to walk on.
This morning was a bit of a stress. Getting the three children dressed and ourselves all out the door at the right time wasn't a walk in the park. Kaeley was getting on our nerves. After worship the children of the church all came into the sanctuary to sing in our last worship song. They were waving palms and stood in front of the church. I was on the far side, so I didn't get to see everyone until they passed me to leave. I saw the first grade class go by. Then a shorter group came by. The next class I thought for sure was Kaeley's class, but she wasn't there either. There were several short classes that passed by before I finally thought that Kaeley must not have participated in the parade. Finally a class of little tiny people walked by and low and behold... there was Kaeley. It was a nice reminder on how little that girl is! She's just a little shrimp! It was very heart warming.
