Ways You Can Pray for Us

Here's an update on Kaeley's venture to help the homeless: She raised about $10-15.00 through the crafts that she sold to our friends and family. Thanks to my moms good suggestion I jumped at the opportunity to find out more about the upcoming homeless BBQ that's being hosted by our church this Friday. The organizer said we can bring whatever we want to, so I encouraged Kaeley to pray about it and I prayed about it for her. She woke up the next morning saying that God had told her to bring quesadillas. Well, I don't know for sure if that's what He told her, but it's food, it's food that she can afford, and it's food that we can make, so we thanked God for His guidance and informed the organizer in our choice of food.
So, now, the praying continues. It's just a little things, well... it sounds like a little thing, but in reality I want this to be a peaceful experience, so I need prayer. We need to be at the BBQ at 3:30pmish, which is right during our usual nap time. This means everyone, including myself, will miss out on nap. I will probably have all children with me, and the one I'm concerned about in that environment is my fire-cracker Nathan. Also, please pray that the quesadillas will stay warm and gooey as we make them and then bring them to the church.
With that being said, I praise God for giving us the opportunity to glorify His name in this fashion and learn more about His ways. I know He will provide! I will keep you all posted in our little adventure with the Kingdom.
