Last night I made my first pillow. I used some expensive Thomas the Tank Engine fleece. I had originally bought it to make a cape for Nathan, but the stinker doesn't want to wear a cape. I was thankful to fine another use for the fabric. The red patch is a pocket. It was a handle for easy travel. It's not Brad's favorite project, because Nathan thinks it's a purse. But he slept with it last night, so I was very pleased.
Thanks to another tutorial I made a rubber band for Kaeley using scraps of fabric and button covers. That was a fast treat. I think I might start buying button covers in bulk so I can make them for gifts.
I think I'm going to use our family savings to hire a nanny. That way I can sew like a mad-lady whenever I want. I think it's about time for the world to revolve around me. Is that faulty thinking?
Well, I guess if I could enjoy my new hobby whenever I wanted to it wouldn't be quite as special.
