Yesterday, after three months, the kids and I finally got to go back to Disneyland. It was still really crowded. I'm counting down to another two weeks when Disney is opened from 10am to 8pm. That usually means they aren't expecting crowds.
Yesterday was a bit different than our usual, because the kids and I didn't leave until after lunch time. Nathan and Kaeley for-went their nap. Alynna had a small nap.
Boy, it was hard work. Those kids are getting heavy! I like to bring the umbrella stroller, because it's easier to close for the monorail and trams and trains. However, that means that Kaeley needs to walk, Alynna is in the BabyHawk and Nathan is in the stroller.
My rule when I'm with the three kids by myself is no line longer than fifteen minutes. I do that mostly because of Nathan. He's the kind of kid that will walk up to a complete stranger and grab their hand... if they're farther up in line than his real family is. It's just too much work. So, anyway, we rode the Disneyland train all the way around the park, saw what we could of a parade, rode on the Jungle Cruise, walked the many stairs of Tarzan's Tree House, and then walked to California Adventures to meet my best friend's family. With them we rode the Merry-Go-Round, ate picnic dinners, and rode several Bug's Life rides.
By the time we left it was 8:45pm. Nathan fell asleep even before we got to the tram!
Now my arms feel like I did a few too many push-ups.
By the way, check out their matching Tshirts. No, I didn't make the Tshirts... thanks to Target and Hanes, but I did applique the Mickey Mouse heads. Nathan even got a compliment from a stranger on his cool flames. Brad calls it his Flamin' Mickey shirt, but I don't like how that sounds. :)
