Jiggling Jellies

Yesterday Kaeley attended the Jiggling Jellies class at the Aquarium of the Pacific. She learned about the bodies of sea jellies, made a sea jelly out of a paper bowl, touched the bell of a white sea jelly, and so on. We love those classes! The teacher found me after class to tell me she hopes we continue taking the classes, because Kaeley was such a joy. Kaeley listened to the teacher with rapt attention and asked the right questions. You can't hear enough of that!
While she was in the class the two little ones had a date around the aquarium. Nathan thoroughly enjoyed standing in front of certain fish tanks for as long as he wanted. We walked into the lorikeets cage and asked many of them if they wanted to land on his hand, but none of them obliged him. We got to see the sharks, touch the tanks, etc. I could tell he was enjoying being followed around instead of following Big Sister around.
Alynna was in a pretty good mood for most of our trip. Eventually she need a pacifier-fix, which led to a cranky girl, because I had forgotten it at home.
