I've been sewing so much lately that I've actually been dreaming about sewing! I have not posted pictures of everything I've sewed, but I've enjoyed sewing bags, skirts for Kaeley and her friends, and... I don't know... bookmarks, etc. Anything that I think I, or another person, might enjoy and is within my beginner level I will try to sew. My hobby of reading has gone by the wayside for now.
Today I appliqued onto a Tshirt I bought for Kaeley. I hate that stupid satin stitching! The flower that I sewed on her shirt is far from perfect, because I couldn't figure out that darn stitch. I'm not even sure it'll last in the washing machine. That's why I made sure to take pictures while it lasted. :) I'm learning. Hopefully the next one will go better, because it's supposed to be a gift. No satin stitch! They'll have to happy with the top stitch.
Nathan wanted to show off his Tshirt, too. Brad and I saw this at Target last night and thought it was just too cute! Who says they don't make cute clothes for boys? Especially when the boy is wearing that shirt with the dirt and boogers smeared all over his face, like my boy.
