Spidey-Purse... Tote Bag... Oh Dear

Nathan has a beloved Spiderman Tshirt. It was a hand-me-down and he wears it often, so it has become a bit grody and it is now small enough to sort of creep up his belly. I was going to make a pillow out of it, because we in the house have a soft spot for comic book heroes, thanks to my dad's never-ending passion for comic book stories, and I just couldn't throw it away. So I made a small version of a reversible tote bag using the Tshirt and some snazzy flame flannel fabric, which I love.
It's too small to hold large library books... come on, he's two years old... but we're going to bring it to the library anyway, because it can hold a few DVDs or a board book or two.
Once I made it I began to worry... does it look like a purse? I guess it is technically a purse. If I had had more fabric I could have made one long handle and called it a messenger bag. Oh dear. I sure hope I don't get in trouble for making a Spiderman purse! It's so cute though!
