Am I coming up with the best, cheesiest titles ever, or what? :) Yesterday was a long day. It was a great day full of sweet memories, but it was packed full! First of all the children, my dad, and myself went to South Bay Faith Academy for our "Academy Day". It's the day we meet with half of our umbrella school and fellowship, learn, play, etc. I help set up for the event, and we got there late, which was at 8:50am. At noon school ended and we headed to the park with many of those from the school. Now that was fun! I can't wait until next park day! After that we dropped off my dad. We arrived home around 3:00pm?
I had really wanted to get through the day without watching television, but even after having a half hour with Kaeley of just quiet, I was still tired. I did devotions with her and told her she could watch one of her favorite documentary series while I took a short nap. I woke up half an hour later to find Kaeley asleep! That was precious! I was able to sneak into the bedroom and sew, clean a little, then get the two younger babies up, and still slept!
We ate a quick, unhealthy dinner and then packed up blankets, pillows, and one extra child and headed to our church for their first movie night. Last night they showed Babe. The church staff did a great job. It was decorated very cute. All the chairs were moved to the side. They had popcorn, Red Vines, and animal crackers.
The children mostly enjoyed the movie, but there was one time I had one of the four children actually watching the movie. It was a lot of movement, bribing with food, and gentle encouraging, but I think everyone had fun. I hope they did. I'm not sure if we'll all go to next month's movie, but I do look forward to going again. We might be two less babies, but we'll see.
