Disneyland

I think it was Saturday that I decided to throw school to the end and take Monday off for a Disneyland day. I was so excited and couldn't wait to go hang out with the kids and have fun together. Sigh. Why do I think that's ever going to happen? Don't get me wrong. I had fun, but it was a lot of work and I almost lost my temper with Alynna who decided to take all the food I gave her and throw it to the floor in anger. I was finally able to put her to sleep in the sling where she slept for a good half hour at least, but my goodness! I almost lost it right in front of the Haunted Mansion.
It was more crowded than I was personally expecting, but we were able to ride a good dozen rides, I think. It was perfect weather too. Alynna and Kaeley got many comments on their princess dresses, which is always fun.
No, I did have fun, but my word! All the untying and tying and out of the strollers and in the strollers and who needs a snack versus who hates dried apple rings. I don't know why I always expect this will be some kind of vacation for me.
We arrived at the park around ten. We got home shortly before five. We were all exhausted, so I turned on a movie. I'm having issues with my sinuses, so I paid Kaeley $0.20 to babysit her siblings while I took a shower. Brad came home to find half of us in our pajamas already. He's so great. He was excited to get his own pajamas on and we vegged out in front of the television for the remainder of the evening.
