Last night, after a huge amount of drama from Kaeley which made me so mad I began laughing, yeah, wasn't a good time, the kids made their sign for the soldiers. The sign won't be used until today, but I like to be prepared. Obviously Nathan got a little confused and thought Alynna was the sign.
After dinner we "picked up" our neighbors/cousins across the way and we drove to our area's Christmas Light Village. We actually braved it outdoors and walked around for forty-five minutes, I think, and then drove the rest of the way. It was beautiful. I hope to go back sometime before the season is over. The kids enjoyed it, I think, even though someone was always hungry while another was cold and another had a stomach ache. I think it ended up rotating.
Today will be a better day! Today will be a better day! I'm just going to keep telling myself that until I believe it!
