Disneyland is a Success!

Today I had a wonderful day with the kids at Disneyland. The crowds were minimal, which was a much needed change for me after the last several times I had attempted to go during the holiday mad hours. We arrived close to eleven in the morning.
Kaeley chose to see Great Moments with Abraham Lincoln. It was a beautiful show. On the way out there is a Wall of Fame, you might say, of American history. Kaeley was able to pick out the current president, Martin Luther King Jr., Lucille Ball, who she calls "I Love Lucy", and I helped her through Mark Twain. I felt quite accomplished as I saw that our History lessons were working. Okay, well, we watch a lot of I Love Lucy, so she doesn't count. However, I later found out she thought Abraham Lincoln was the man who made Disneyland. I rolled my eyes and said, "No, Kaeley, Abraham Lincoln was the president during the Civil War!" She thought about this and said, "Oh. Then why is he here?"
We rode ride after ride, ate lunch at play area in Toon Town, and I decided to head home right about the time all three children started annoying me. It was the perfect time to leave. I think it was a defensive maneuver. It didn't take long for all three children to be deeply asleep on the ride home.
So, thank You, Lord, for a wonderful day! It was such a blessing. Thank You for helping Nathan keep dry all through Disney. Now if You would please give me wisdom on why he pees on the floor when he gets home!
