The pieces you see in the picture are "originals". The tall piece is a triple decker bus, with pilots, windows, mechanical arm, etc.
My favorite piece was a small space ship. It was topped with a gold arch and had a window with an awning over the top. This was his McDonald's space ship. The best part of this piece was the secret door underneath. He got very excited as he found it and said it was for secret documents. When he opened it two little folded papers fell out. One was "The Deed to the Universe" and the other, my favorite, was "Proof of Insurance".
Yes, he admits he was a geek. But you know, I wasn't a geek when I was younger (dork maybe, but not a geek) and I still can't get creative enough to make anything besides square buildings with Lego's. That "geekiness" also brings in a paycheck that supports the family. I stand behind the mantra that geek is truly the new chic.

lol that is so awesome! Can't believe his parents kept them like that...if my kids haven't touched their creations in awhile I just throw them back in the lego bin lol
So is he going to leave them intact?
