They Bring Me Joy

These were my little couch buddies the other day. I couldn't wait to see the children after it all happened. My in-laws kept Alynna over night and my mom and sister-in-law had the two olders. I really had wanted to see one of the kids Sunday night so I could wrap my arms around a little body and just feel their warmth. However, Kaeley wanted a sleepover and I knew it wasn't wise to have a little baby back quite yet. Sure enough, the next day my in-laws dropped Alynna off to the house. Within minutes she had climbed onto the couch with me and ended up whacking me in the neck where I had a bruise from the blood transfusion. Man, that hurt, but I had to laugh, because that was exactly why she wasn't welcomed to come back home Sunday night.
