Good Day #1

On Thursday my sister-in-law came over to the house and we walked to 7-Eleven for slurpees. The two olders took their bikes. This was the first time I had both children on their bikes for a walk through the town. I was so thankful that my first experience happened to have Toni! When Nathan gets pedaling he's like a speed demon! He would fly off down the sidewalk and into the street if Toni didn't catch up to him. It would have been tricky chasing him down and grabbing him by the back of the neck for his safety while still pushing Alynna in the umbrella stroller. Anyway, that was how the day started. Toni also brought over my first plug-in tart burner. I have had a tea candle tart burner for a long time, and now I've gone Scentsy in support of my sister-in-law's new home business. My house smells lovely. The only problem was for the first half of the day I kept leaning over to blow out the light bulb.
Lunch time came and Kaeley decided she wanted to eat outside. It was her idea to set up the table. They looked so cute sitting out there. Kaeley prayed over the grilled cheese sandwiches. Alynna was first to come in for good. She wandered into the house twice, spilling pieces of sandwich as she wandered. Then Nathan kept moving around and bothering Kaeley, so Kaeley was eventually the only one eating outside, but that was fine with her.
The two youngers slept as was in the script, so Kaeley and I had a good school day without much academics.
