Colorful Rocks

Last week I dusted off my craft idea book. This craft was called "Colorful Rocks" and it came from Family Fun I don't know how long ago. I found the rocks at the Dollar Tree. You stick the rocks in a warm oven until they're nice and hot. You take the rocks out using oven mitts, then use old unwrapped crayons to color all over. The wax should instantly melt and, once cooled, make a beautiful marbleized piece of art. I lacquered them three or four times over and glue heavy duty magnets on the backs. Aren't they beautiful? Tip: don't do with almost two year olds who don't get "don't touch... hot!"
