8 Months

Eight months already! Part of me feels like I've been pregnant for about a year. Not because I'm uncomfortable or anything, but just because it's been months! I found out I was pregnant in the summer and that just feels like a life time ago. However, the other part of me thinks, "Eight months already! Where has the time gone!?!" I suppose that's just life.

This morning I had two of my little ducklings take the picture with me. Nathan was grumpy. He just can't understand why Daddy has to leave every morning to go to work. He wasn't happy. Blood sugar could have something to do with it, because after a bowl of cereal life went on as usual.

I'm feeling great. The past week I've even been sleeping better. My wonderful and very noisy sleeper of a husband has tried a different sleeping position, which has helped curb his snoring. It's amazing! I'll wake up and just revel in the fact that I can go back to sleep without ear phones blasting music in my ears to drown out the noise machine that my husband is. It's almost too exciting to go back to sleep! It just makes me so happy! I asked him yesterday what he was doing differently, and he mentioned this new sleeping position, but that it made his back feel a little uncomfortable when he woke up. I've been so happy with my night's sleep that I had to bite my tongue from saying, "Oh, you're fine! Just give it a couple of nights and you'll get used to it!" :) I'm just a fountain of compassion. Don't worry. I didn't say it.

The sleeping has been my biggest complaint with this trimester. I do get a slight burning from skin pulling or muscles just irritated by a foreign body's constant action from within, but I am so thankful with this healthy pregnancy that those little annoyances pale in the light. It's just the sleep... Sigh. I love my husband. I told him this morning that I love him even more when he doesn't snore. Is that wrong? :)
