Going to College

This morning Kaeley told me, in her very serious manner, told me that she was thinking of skipping some grades so she could go to college. I was a little taken aback, but what's new. It was such an effort not to laugh or even smile, but I knew she would be highly insulted if I took her serious statement as a joke. I asked her which grades she was hoping to skip. She wasn't sure, but she was thinking maybe first or fifth. I guess her cousin told her in order to go to college that's what she was going to have to do. Poor thing. She was born an adult. How frustrated it must be to be treated as a child when she knows backwards and forwards that she's capable of going to college.
