We had small dinner rolls that I told her yesterday were just beginning to dot with white spots a bit, so I better use them up. She decided to help me with that by cutting them all opened and adding brown sugar since she couldn't open the honey jar. :) So I got the roll (which quietly disappeared while she wasn't looking), canned peaches, and a large glass of milk. I also got a funny note that said, "Thank you. Food. For Kaeley. To Mommy." She corrected her backwards d in food, but didn't notice the quite backwards F. And if she thought that small plate of food was FOR her and TO me she was mistaken. :) I ate the peaces, drank half the milk, added the other half into my large bowl of oatmeal, and secretly replaced the roll with a piece of toast.
Alynna got a huge bowl of unsweetened oatmeal.
Kaeley was very pleased with herself. So pleased with herself, in fact, that she sounded much like her father. Kaeley: How is it? I thought it was good. I decided to use the sugar instead of honey, because I couldn't open the jar. I thought it was good. Do you like it, Mommy? Nathan, are you happy I made you breakfast? Did you like the brown sugar? and on and on and on until I nicely say, "You did a great job! Let's talk about something else, please."
Daddy after making a plate of scrambled eggs: I thought they turned out great. I added the hot sauce to the pan first this time instead of adding them in later. I like the sausage in it too. Do you like the sausage or is it too much? I have to say these are the best eggs I've made so far! Was that enough?
They are so similar. :) I got quite a kick out of her breakfast to me and her note. She has quite the servant's heart. Hmm... I have a lot of laundry to do today... just makes me think... :)
