Cowboy Nathan

I made Nathan a cowboy vest. He was very excited about it before I made it, but once I asked him to put it on he wasn't impressed. He said he couldn't wear it because he didn't have the cowboy boots, the cowboy hat, and the lasso. Well, the boy isn't getting a lasso. I can't tell you how many times he turned his rubber snake into a lasso and ended up smacking one of the girls in the face. Don't worry. The snake is now in trash.

At the craft store Nathan saw a cowboy hat, so we grabbed it. It was made of foam and was made to decorate with stickers. Within two days the hat was ripped in half. I wouldn't have replaced it, but he was almost in tears. Brad promised him we'd get him another one. So now we have not only a brown hat for Nathan, but we also have a pink one for Alynna. Do they get worn? Rarely. Sigh. Kids are so bad for the budget. I personally like his cowboy vest. :)
