The Tradition Continues

The Armed Forces Day Parade. How we love the Armed Forces Day Parade! I think this is our fourth. Every year we picnic on a blanket, scream cheers at the men and women who put or will put their lives on the line for our freedom, and every year I get choked up over their sacrifice. I just can't help myself! Every year, at some point in the festivities I think of their sacrifice and our freedom and I get all verklempt!

Alynna would scream, as you can see from the picture, "Mommy, I see warriors!" A couple of times she would yell that out loud at us and then literally just open your mouth and squeal!

Yes, we had a great time. Thank you, Armed Forces of the past and the present. You are celebrities in our home.
