For the Love of the Trains

Simon has recently developed a love of trains. He knows where in the closet we keep the box and will often chase one of us down saying his little, "Eh?" until we finally realize he's wanting to take it down. It's not all the time that he carries the die casts with him, but this particular day he insisted on holding one in each hand as we played in our apartment complex playground. You can see in the above picture he has Thomas in one hand. He actually wanted to be in the swing, but he didn't want to let go of the train. Kaeley ended up holding his hands to the chain while she pushed him up and then ran backwards to let him "swing".

He's pure boy and I love it!

Not only is swinging more difficult when you're holding die cast trains, but climbing a ladder is even MORE tricky!

It's no surprise that he indeed figured it out.
