Ice Cream by the Sea

After the USS Midway the two families parted ways for some "quiet" time. Well, family time is more like it, because I'm not sure either family was all that "quiet". The Saavedras visited the little tourist village by the sea. It served as a lovely regrouping. We met a pirate and Brad bravely told him to "stay".

We watched stunt kites.

I spent an-arm-and-a-leg (well worth it I might add) for natural soaps and goodies, which I love using! 

And we then spent an-arm-and-a-leg on Ben & Jerry's ice cream for a family of six.

That, too, was worth it. Okay, so it ruined Simon shirt, his new pilot wings, and got in his eyebrows...

...but sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
