So you're supposed to distract two-year olds over disciplining, right? So far no good.
The other day he woke up from his nap just on fire to begin the rest of his day. He was head-butting Kaeley in the stomach, which she actually fun quite funny. Then he noticed Alynna in the same room, tried to pick her up, and then he dropped her. Okay, distract him away from the girls. I gave him the bucket that was near by and asked if he would help me by putting it away for me. Instantly I could see the sparkle in his eyes. He plopped that bucket on his head, saying, "Hat!", and then began running into the desk.
Two days ago he was in the kitchen for a few minutes. I was close by, but obviously not close enough, because he found the bleach pen and started "cleaning" my kitchen floor. Okay, clean up the slime carefully and distract. I asked him to put the stool away for me, which goes in the bathroom. A minute later I found him in our bedroom using the Shout bottle of Alynna's clean blanket. I told him no and directed him back into the kitchen area with Kaeley. After I threw the blanket into the wash basket and put the Shout away I went back into the kitchen to find him spraying Pledge on the kitchen floor!
I also added a picture of him in Alynna's bed, sucking on her little tiny pink pacifier. He not only had his own pacifiers, which we call Jimmies, in his hands, but also had all of Alynna's. I asked, "Nathan, why are you in here?" He held up both of his hands loaded with these little treasures and shouted, "Jimmies!"
